Its the exact opposite over here...  except the rain has finally stopped...mid 30FS and clouds... melt continues...

I got my new Avid hydraulic disc brakes put on my bike..just have to adjust the derailleurs (front/rear) and I should be ready for biking if spring ever shows up.   If i tried biking down the bluff trail right now I'd break every bone in my body :violin:   Also working on putting together another bike...can never have too many bikes.

Temps are actually cooling here, despite the HRRR and RAP showing temps supposed to be increasing.  We've dropped from 42 to 39 over the last few hours.  Those two models had us approaching 50.  Fail.

Up to 0.87" for the day now, and still steady moderate to occasionally heavy rain.  1.29" storm total.

No fair ...  raw, ugly, stinky, crappy, horrible day here in southwest WI...think we topped 36F ...had rain on/off all day...all weekend for that matter...  NEXT!

Did another hike this afternoon...trails were better...more slush so a little more traction...had to come down the bluff right through the woods where the snow was still deep in spots, although very wet/slushy.

You walk down snowmobile trails?

Made it to 42° today earlier for a couple hours, then northeast winds locked in. Fog has got the visibility down to about 200 feet right now.

Amazing the rain didn't expose the grass at all in the yard, still have 9".

Great springlike day here in Louisville! We got up to 69 despite having overcast conditions. Too bad we may not see a day like this again until the end of the month. Temperatures will likely only make it into the 50's for the rest of the week after our two 40 degree days tomorrow and Tuesday.

One thing I dislike about daylight saving time is that I have to stay up later for GFS model runs here in the Eastern time zone. :violin:

The nice thing is that model watching isn't as fun in the warm season anyhow.... Daylight savings time is in effect during the boring weather season.
