moneypitmike
Nothing here now, cloud deck has brightened considerably. 33F I'm going to end up with a net loss from this storm, albeit minor. I would have prefered a sunny weekend here over this. lol Wow, Chris--it's ripping up here.
mahk_webstah
Hopefully Zuck shows up to apologize to GYX later. Amen. He was doing his pissy thing. Never attractive from a young guy who is not a met in a forum where mets are participating and giving their thoughts for free. I should've said something. Chris and Ekster were gracious of course. And you'll probably be close to 6 inches in about an hour

CoastalWx
Hopefully Zuck shows up to apologize to GYX later. He tends to get all negative when he misses out. Him and LL somehow think Feb is a disappointment, despite me seeing 3' already and likely more to come.

Him and LL somehow think Feb is a disappointment, despite me seeing 3' already and likely more to come. Enough is enough Scott. Don't put words in my mouth...the blizzard was absolutely epic and I cleaned up. SInce then its been 4 rain events, sorry if I don't get excited about that. The discussion was post blizzard, not really sure why you are having a hard time understanding that. I can say how epic the blizzard was a million times and you keep trolling me saying FEB has been a dissapointment, I said since the blizzard its been dissapointing here, only because of the potential that was there, which everyone talked about for the last few weeks. Enjoy your snow, happy its snowing up there...........

moneypitmike
Nice, how long has that been going on? Radar is meager at best. Well, it's lightened up now. But it was going strong for about 1/2 hour. Looks like we may get enough another burst in a couple minutes. I think that's how it's going to go out here. Nice burst, lull, bust, lull. The lulls will allow the surface temps and strong solar minimaize the impact of the bursts. Still think we'll top off a 2" on the ground at best. bobbutts
Yeah, but it'd be nice to allow people to upload short vids directly to here....maybe a max of 3 in your attachments at a time? The only drawback is people need quicktime installed to play these files. Doesn't bother me, I prefer the originals, but youtube makes it so everyone can see without any tech support. Snow Bow
In CON and its just amazing out there right now. Huge aggregates and lots of them. Last check in Bow had a little over 4" but that will change quick. Having breakfast and can't keep a conversation going as my eyes keep drifting towards the window. SeanInWayland
Right on the rain-snow line here in South Wayland. It's snowing lightly at my house w/ maybe 1/2" of accumulation, but went over to Wellesley Center just now (about 4 mi SE) and it's raining there, no accumulation visible at all. CoastalWx
Starting to see things fill in a bit over ern areas. Mix line in dual pol right over BOS and into nrn RI, but obviously low levels even where it's snowing aloft...is still rain at the moment.

mahk_webstah
watching live facetime video out my kitchen window from 5000 mils away. Wow it is snowing hard. Look at that stuff over by Portland and soon to get to Jeff (hopefully). The CON stuff looks like it won't last much longer but over in ME I bet someone exceeds 12. Th 25dz are translating to 2.5"/hour so those 30+ must be 3/hour+
