36.9/32 - Light ENE winds...

 

Mix of rain and large wet snowflakes... mostly snowflakes in the last 15 minutes...

one meso model really pounds the ever loving crap out of you in next 12 hours.....

 

1.25-1.30qpf by 7am. on the 12km 12z btv wrf meso

 

could be a surprise event down in SE ct SW S RI tonite esp.hill towns maybe over to wrentham/weeenie ville in se mass  if that meso had a clue.   18z nam also shows about .5 qpf there next 8-10 hrs so looks like it gon do something there w hvy rates\

 

and by surprise i mean a hvy wet snow fall of advisory level conditions

 

temps in interior SW RI are colder than NE mass by a few degrees

 

west greenwhich ri is 34.3/30.6  and LWM is 38.4/28  ughhhh

Snowy afternoon in the Green Mountains...

 

Up at 1,500ft a nice wintery day in the woods...

There's about 2-2.5 feet or so of snowpack, which is below average for this time of year but we'll take it...

I hope not!  Not a snow lover AT ALL...

 

Not to mention the tree damage from the blizzard, because of the wet consistency of the snow, surpassed that of Hurricane Sandy.  Many tree's and tree limbs still down around the area... seems cedars and to a lesser degree, white pines took the biggest hit. 

 

Temp down to 36.6/32 with a mixture of sleet, light snow and a few drops of rain.
