CoastalWx
Yeah way south. Actually not too far from 00z run. Have to ignore the GFS ensembles. When would the GEFS members give us snow? Would you say it's 3-6 south of the Pike in the hills?
CoastalWx
It's still a little too far south for DC, although better than 00z I guess.

N. OF PIKE
i'd like to know how the euro handles the energy off the new england coast on this run lets hope euro ens are a red flag's worth NW with QPF in SNE. tonite's run will be intesting if 18z and or 0z gefs keep fighting the good fight. At the very least it would make for some entertaining model warfare.
ORH_wxman
When would the GEFS members give us snow? Would you say it's 3-6 south of the Pike in the hills? The GEFS give my BY about 0.80" of liquid equivalent, lol. I'll be lucky to get 20% of that.
weatherMA
The GEFS? Yes. Ha, yeah. Well, regardless even on the weenie GEFS only like one member gets appreciable snow way up here. It's just interesting to follow. But the Euro has been really, really consistent.
ORH_wxman
Euro still gives us weenie qpf with the onshore flow...but it wouldn't amount to much.

I think the euro looks too far south..I hate when it wraps the low center back SW at hr 84 to 90. It seems to do that a lot. I don't mean to imply it means much here, but down there it does. Damage In Tolland
When would this potential snowfall be? Is it Tuesday or Wed nite?
dendrite
Weenie light snows Wed night on the euro from the onshore flow, but that's about it. It'd probably be some very light accums over the interior based on the timing. Coating or bust.

weathafella
I saw an oriole today and a few crocuses near buildings. I also saw an obese well dressed woman humming as someone escorted out of a limo. It won't be long. Sure it's. cool but spring is coming on fast now.

Clinch Leatherwood
Even with the blizzard the euro was astoundingly consistent in stalling the low much further sw than other models. One problem that didnt happen, it was too far sw and that's why dryslot ended up getting pounded and not mostly missed like the 3.5 to 5 day guidance had. CoastalWx
I dunno man...the higher sun is healing... Hey I'll remember that when we are backdoored in May..lol. With that block developing mid month...hard to really see a spring pattern IMHO.
Sugarloaf1989
It looks like a band of light snow is settling southbound into Connecticut right now on radar. Currently it's 32F here with a few flurries.

CoastalWx
I hope not, fog and 50F in May sucks. Sorry, I meant mid part of this month. But, maybe we can get a Mother's Day 2006 repeat.
weathafella
We may not see much of it over the next week. Or the past week. A few peeks today when I was outside felt good. But alas, we have to wade through crap to get a good stretch of wx now. I'm at the point where 3-6 doesn't cut it as it lasts otg little more than a day. 8+ or warmth is my emerging mindset. Ginx snewx
Look at the Ens -sds relaxing the block and increasing the inflow. Beginning to believe that CC is in for a big blow. Even the Euro has curled north with high winds.
