Temp is 39F and rising. In town at 700' is already at 40F: http://weather.weatherbug.com/GA/Ideal-weather.html?zcode=z6286&zip=06238

CoastalWx
Yeah tonight and tomorrow will be ugly for the pack fetish crowd. It's getting to be that time of year....people lose snow. It's unhealthy to insist it isn't going anywhere. After this weekend..at least it looks better by March standards anyways.
CoastalWx
There was definitely pockets of dry air between 850 and 500 on the models which is probably part of the reason this looks a little fractured.

Sugarloaf1989
What do you think about Interior folks for later tomorrow into Fri morning? Cool enough right? The NWS mentions 1-2" of snow for the interior, 1" coastal plain.
Damage In Tolland
The NWS mentions 1-2" of snow for the interior, 1" coastal plain.Yup I saw that earlier. Seems similar to what we had Sunday night but with more qpf. We'll see
MarkO
http://www.pdfamily.com/weather/mesomap.htm With those temps and an inch of qpf, I don't see how I won't lose half my snowpack at least here in Lowell.
HoarfrostHubb
I think the rain will really do a number on what has fallen since Sunday (10" already compacted, melted, washed away to about 4"). Maybe the Blizard stuff survives, but whateva...

Cold Miser
Some nice good old fashioned sneaky yet obvious trolling going on here. Good stuff Nothing sneaky and trollish about it. The fact is, the snow is dissapearing faster than your hair did back in the day, and like I said last week it is my non-scientific-gut-feeling (NSGF) that you and I saw our last warning event with the blizzard. Reality sucks. Morch may have a cool start, but big snow chances for Ct are slowing coming to an end.
