moneypitmike
Did the colder EC runs have you CT folks already going to rain? If not, perhaps its relatively cold scenario might be off the table? Sure hope not. 32.4/
ORH_wxman
Euro implies an awesome thumping for Will. 2/24/10 all over again. NAM inists no...though it did cool some from 18z...the NAM looks like it is warming the column from the bottom up rather than nosing in warm air aloft first...it has 850s still below zero with sfc temps in the upper 30s and frz level just above 900mb...Euro was def keeping the lower levels dammed better and much colder. Doesn't the NAM typically handle damming (or damning) situations better the the EC and GFS?

CoastalWx
I think if anything..maybe some sort of warm tongue may ruin the party for some near Tolland..but those low level temps on the NAM seem warm.
N. OF PIKE
0z hrrr not handling temps in NE mass that well as low 30's can be found in majority of essex county along i 95. and even a bit east. actually most models that i've looked at euro/gfs/nam btv wrf all had temps to mild for essex county at this time and had radar too far south for this time as well
moneypitmike
Anyone care to overlay the BOX map over this mesomap? Weathertap has returns over just about all of CT, knocking on the door for Springfield. Not sure if I'll be able to keep my eyes open for the first flakes though. 32.1/

ORH_wxman
That first punch of precip in CT has pretty weak lift with it, so it will be harder to reach the gorund as it moves north. The real meat comes in after 06z with that stuff south of LI/NJ
