Southern Lower Michigan was routinely 36/27 T and TDs then the wall of rain came in.  A few sites crashed to 33/29 and report freezing rain, while other just cold rain.  It did that for a couple of hours, but now light snow has flashed over.   Not sure if that could be used as any plausible indicator for us.  But when the action gets in here during the wee hours of next morning we may have similar T/TD spreads...  maybe a tick or two colder in the T's

That's here almost to a T.  35.5/27

You may be surprised how fast it accumulatres before any taint.  I would say 6"+ is safe for you at this point.  Even the lower elevations up this way will pound for a little while, lots of DP's in the upper 20's around here.

Once again you gotta' figure that Will up to HubbaDubba Dave is a nice place to be in MA.

I'm planning on 3-4"  here.  I've got the latitude but not the elevation.

Generator is ready just in case...

My generator is encased in 2' of ice.  Ready to go.

My friend from UNH just texted saying he got a notification of 8-12" WSW on his phone...but they are very close to the coast and literally like below 100' elevation. If they're going to be in a warning, shouldn't GYX have 4-8" warnings for their southern coastal zones? I don't know...maybe they get 8" but I think it will be difficult.

They are literally 5 miles north of where there aren't even advisories up, and the P+C says less than an inch. A little confusing I will admit.

edit: Not to mention GYX map has <1" for them. Why aren't they consistent???

Second time this week a WSA turns into not even an advy here.  My house on the hill probably gets a couple inches but it's not representative of the county.  And while I do get some satisfaction driving up going from catpaws to snowflakes, Umass is still under 40" and it would be nice to get there.

Warning in Holden, and nothing in Shrewsbury/ Worcester. Classic late winter marginal snowfall warning layout. I usually get 2-4" of slop out of these back home. Will could pull of 8" or a lot less. BOX map seems to think only 2" for him?

I'm west of 190 by a mile or two, so that map would imply like 3" for me...though the map isn't fine enough to catch the resolution of the hills on that small of a scale...its clearly hitting the 6"+ amounts on the spine of the hills there which means my spot at 900 feet would probably be closer to those amounts than the verbatim total on the map...the map is really just a guideline, and using local knowledge of the area you can kind of figure out what they are thinking.

For sure, you get the idea. I think I'll tell my parents 2-5" but I don't know. I guess it could be less then an inch. Higher spots in town 3"+ is a lock a think but down lower I don't really know. I could see 1" or 7".

Up here also, there are 14-18 pixels not far away but I'm under 8-10" with 6-8" close as well.
