weathafella
funny you mention that. I experienced a 10 inch snowstorm there 10 years ago today. How does a NY guy survive in Wichita? I've been there.......
Ryan
Looks to me like 5-8" with a few isolated amounts to 9" from Essex county through Rockingham into York county.
SlantStickers Anonymous
So euro is .75 and colder east of 495? Have to bump up the totals for bos and ema from 2-4 to 6-8? Or are rates still crappy for accumulation?
dendrite
No big inverted trough snows for CNE?? per the Euro?Similar to 0z and the 12z GFS.
CoastalWx
you seem more down on this storm then many Bos looks advisory if euro temps are right i'd rather have euro say colder than anyone else It still stinks in the boundary layer as modeled. If this busts in the positive direction, it's because the CCB got going earlier and we dynamically cool to a wet snow bomb. Nothing points to that right now, but that's how it would bust in the positive direction. Hopefully we pull an inch or two tomorrow night.

Arnold214
How does a NY guy survive in Wichita? I've been there.......I enjoyed it. I've always loved the plains though because above anything else I'm a severe wx nut. And ICT has like 300k people so it was decent sized with lots to do. jsw
'fella, can you give a rough qpf summary for various points? Weatherfella will probably answer this for Boston area, but if anyone is interested, we're due for about .5 QPF through Sunday morning. That makes sense then, with 3 - 5 inchers of snow forecast. Snow conditions should be pretty good on Monday if anyone else is going to be at Mount Snow or Stratton Sunday. Just FYI. I have seen that there are a lot of skiers and I'm sure a few other snowboarders here. Maybe this should be in the Ski thread, but wanted to put the QPF here. Edit: I see now that he did answer. It turns out I inadvertently crashed the Wichita Marathon....lol. People are nice in that part of the world and at the time McDonald Douglas was a going concern. Still..it would Probably drive menuts after awhile. OT but I love these slate gray overcast days with snow otg. Winter.
