CT Rain
Gives 0.75"+ east of an area bounded by PWM-AFN-ORH-GON...then maybe an inch of qpf for Cape Ann and near BOS to the south shore and the Cape. 0.50" line goes down the spine of the Berks into NW CT to NYC. Eh.... I don't think BDL is over 0.75"

CT Rain
Right...I said east of PWM-AFN-ORH-GON was 0.75"+ Oops my bad. Sorry... I'm multitasking poorly at the moment. At least here in CT some of that front thump is lost to a bit of mixing then maybe 1-3 fluff on the backside?

Tropopause_Fold
For the marginal areas which is basically anywhere south of the the pike and west of 495 that just won't cut it, IMO.

Yeah a lot of the first half of the qpf there is rain on the Euro...the taint might even almost reach ORH briefly before collapsing back SE. It looked like maybe an inch or so of fluff to end it for HFD...more like 3" in Ginx's area.

This actually will be a case where the weenie band on Sunday will likely be far more isolated than modeled and probably struggle much past ORH. SJonesWX
Dr. No says no to Lake Placid(which was already out to begin with), Hunter, and Berkshires Guess I'm skiing at Hunter this weekend, not driving up to Lake Placid two weekends in a row, and I have passes I need to use there... It's crazy how in 2 days it can go from people in Lake Placid calling for a foot plus for the mountain(and these are people who know what their doing), to now a 1-3" type deal. With the way that things have moved at this point wouldn't be suprised to see nothing there. -skisheep not sure if anyone in SNE or NNE gives a crap about Lake Placid. weathafella
Can't have all of them be a MECS. A pedestrian event but snow just the same. We'd have coveted this 3 weeks ago.

What an interesting 24 hrs. A shame that vort can't catch up...but my guess is more entertaining solutions in one way or another are coming. We go from hoping the low and the associated precip shield can deliver, to hoping the ULL can deliver.
