csnavywx
Excellent, loving the extra snow over the drought areas. Need to keep pushing this sucker west. I can't tell you how much I don't want even a close repeat of last summer.

I can't tell you how much I don't want even a close repeat of last summer. That's true. Of course, as many are sure to mention, droughts are not alleviated in the winter nearly as readily as they are in the spring and summer to begin with. Thunder Road
Total snow accumulation through 120 hours (saved for posterity): GFS: GGEM: In both cases, this includes the slow-accumulating wrap-around, and so is more then just the initial thump. The difference in NE IL is not that big, but down here in NW IN it matters. The GGEM is roughly 0.35" initial thump (through hour 84), and 0.25" wrap-around (hours 84-120). And the UKMET total precip through hour 72 (also saved for posterity): Note, this is all precip types, as the UKMET does not have a built-in SN/PL/ZR/RA deciphering algorithm (or at least not one that they give out for free). Meteogram says that this is all snow for Chicago. Despite the sharp cut-off modeled, I believe it is only showing how far north the initial thump has gotten by 0z Wed, so weenie suicides are not needed. Harry
Was it Chicago Storm that used to post a whole list of Euro text output for cities throughout the GLOV? VERY nice hit in your hood on this euro run. About .75+ which covers most of the Chicago area and a very sharp cut off with perhaps flurries out towards Madison. Much better for LAF crew as well. How does YYZ do on the euro run? close to 1.50..

BowMeHunter
Mom takes my place and saves me from going to play bingo. Nice thump for chicago. To bad its not monday night right now... noise on the model runs are annoying but makes it fun.. I could see anything from a dab to 6" up here. 2-4" would be my safe call. Toronto looks like nice too.
