dryslot
I know nothing about weather but most of the big storms have trended southeast this season. I wouldn't bet against that trend. Not all though,The blizzard did not
CoastalWx
I know you are semi trolling me with that one. Every time I I think about that dark day/ storm it just brings back anger . All I picture are Will and Megan prancing around in the woods in a foot of snow in those pics he posted that day. He had on that blue Mighty Mac jacket that he's had since high school. I kind of like the Dec 1996 analog from the 2nd storm of that 2 nor'easter deal. This setup looks similar to that as modeled Of course you like that analog lol. Some similarities to that as well. As we've preached plenty of time to figure it out. Maybe this becomes a CNE deal.

Typhoon Tip
I'm really am on the fence with this after cursory evaluation of the last 4 or 5 pages of this thread.... It really seems that the momentum may be shifting away from a big storm, to wanting to see Kevin disappointed. Is there anyway this could somehow not snow at all where he is, and like ...snow in deep doughnut all around him? In fact, the enjoyment we may collectively experience in witnessing his abject torment I think may in fact supersede the storm lust its self. Fantastic sociological phenomenon in play - wow. CoastalWx
So many variables, one of which is a trough in the west that might try to speed or kick things out a bit. It may not do much, but just another variable. Also, how quick will this current ULL overhead move out?

CoastalWx
GGEM looks fast to rip the S/W underneath us...doesn't really have time to curve it north. There is some confluence north of maine. GEFS are a BM bomb...but I expect them to be a bit SE of the op.
Zeus
GGEM pulls a blizzard 2013 by going NE-E-ESE. Going to flash my brass balls and walk out on a limb here and say I don't find that solution likely to occur.
ORH_wxman
GGEM pulls a blizzard 2013 by going NE-E-ESE. It almost is like a Dec '05 in E MA where near the coast it may go snow to rain back to whiteout snow
mattlacroix4
Not terribly cold, but what a snowy pattern for Central and Northern New England. S new England may do well, but I think it will be more of an interior elevation thing there.
CoastalWx
Going to flash my brass balls and walk out on a limb here and say I don't find that solution likely to occur. Well it probably will take a jog east rather abruptly, but the biggest difference is the airmass ahead of it. Definitely more marginal.
