CoastalWx
Scooter this isn't an ENE special is it? This pounds all of us equally right? As of now, it gets everyone. As modeled it does give ern areas more QPF as the CCB gets going, but I wouldn't focus on QPF details. I don't see this as you getting half inch QPF and me getting 3", if that's what you mean. Damage In Tolland
Really? 100% coverage here, other than what was shovelled/snowblowed... Black ice thismorning was sick. We could use a nice refresher, though. Yeah same here. Was 24.5 when I left. Plows were out salting during my run. Ice everywhere. And we had a dusting of snow blowing around

His description made it sound like other areas it was no big deal Euro jackpotted the region Phil described...it still gave you plenty of snow, though youhad to deal with some rain in the first half of the storm in CT as the mid-level temps warmed above 0C. Baroclinic Zone
QPF is the last detail people should worry about right now. This thing should have a really nice deformation band.

weatherMA
12z gfs about 6 hours slower than the NAM. edit: At least. 6-8pm start Saturday compared to midday on the 12z NAM.

So you'd assume all snow even down to southern area of state. But I know you're just saying verbatim that's what it showed. It wouldn't snow in Bos and rain at my house lol

Tropopause_Fold
the GFS would be a ORH pts west sort of deal...maybe inside of there a bit too... but with the 850 low center tracking from basically NYC to CHH...that's not ideal for CT/RI/E MA
CoastalWx
Toasty for the coast though.
