CoastalWx
My bad just looking at things now. It does appear that the first half could be wet even for the rev. I didn't realize 925 temps were so mild.
moneypitmike
Yea seems that way to me but we are days away from knowing and with things trending colder who knows. wet or dry as long as its white. Agree. As such, I would tend to lean toward the seasonal trend of colder. Until the models suggest otherwise as we head closer in, that's my take. Mr Torchey
Still have 3ft drifts up against parts of the house and solid pack, starting flood prep now, looks like most of ct is mainly rain, especially down here.
Sampson
That would be a great spot, imo. Thanks. There are times when I can't bear to look at the models for the obvious reasons...happy to say this won't be one of those times.

HoarfrostHubb
It would be cool if we could add another pic to that NOAA one showing the last 2 weekend biggies. All of the Biston TV mets are on board
Cold Miser
Verbatim. 06z GFS gives you some front end WAA snows, transitioning to heavy rain, tha back over to light snow on the back side. Probably lie 75% of what falls would be rain though. He should be thrilled. Early April for the Spring lover. Wow wow wow All snow for us, Steve? All snow for us, Steve? too early Garth but probably mostly a snow bomb, lets see how the models trend through Friday. I am excited, 7h and 8h below us, dynamic cooling, big actually super big VV's, yea I got wood.
CoastalWx
Srfc temps are probably a bit too warm as we start to get climo involved and if we have those dynamics...it certainly would help cool things. But it's very borderline from BOS south. It has the look where 1 degree F means everything. Regardless, it would likely pound on Sunday.

CoastalWx
I figured he meant wet snow but the way he phrased that was weird When I said 925 temps were mild I was referring to the 925 0C line hugging the south coast.
Clinch Leatherwood
LOl at Phils winds on the GFS, this will be yet another white hurricane on Satellite if it develops as modeled. It's really the last thing coastal residents need. The damage being done is exponential as more of the buffer is removed in terms of dunes and sand. Another really bad one could really change the beachfront landscape. Ptown became an island briefly during the first blizzard. One more protracted ene or ne windstorm could change things permanently.
