LOL, well it has to come eventually, right?

It does, I understand some of you holding out though, It was a great winter for most, This year probably outside of last year is the earliest i turned the page, I found this winter to be pretty frustrating so when signs were starting to point to a change i jumped on it............. :)

I'm not holding out given where I live, but I know Spring can be pretty meh around here so I don't see the need to rush it. That's just me...if it could be 60-70 every day, my attitude would be different.

Well, My expectations are not as high for spring as others, I know by living up here for over 50 years that spring can be cold and damp but we can also get some nice days in between heading into May, Snow some years is still on the table as well but knowing it won't last i have no issues if we see some

I was surprised to see ice fishermen still on Sebago Saturday.  Went by again on Sunday but didn't see any man-sized holes in the ice.

Are we locking up that epic cold shot at the end of the run? I think it might be smart to consider climo, but if its 46 and sunny here in ten days I will give you all the props in the world.  I don't care whats going on in ORH or the fact that you have ice on the yard, just like you could care LESS what the weather is like where I live.

I don't see the point.

41F and sunny in BDR actually.

Nope, but close.   Lower Bay.   I'd be putting on my PFD if I was walking out there.  Fooking idiots.

Getting onto the ice is the problem, Shorelines are opening up, The poor SOB this past weekend that had to be rescued on Thompson Lake after walking off the lake in the dark and tripping on a pressure ridge and got wedged inside needing to be rescued by the warden service, Can't even imagine if the ice shifted
