Baroclinic Zone
Yes, today was a nice early spring day. Just don't try to sell low-mid 40's as nice spring weather full of frisbees and outdoor picnics, and we're good. It was 58-59F at TAN. LOL. If I did not have to work, I would been outside doing work in shorts.

CoastalWx
Looks like a flip to snow here Sunday evening on the Euro.... Definite wintry appeal in Spring with that secondary developing over SNE. The entire event here is under 850 0C and most takes place after 6 PM. I doubt that.

powderfreak
I doubt that. lol.... the lowest 3,000ft of the atmosphere is going to be absolutely torched prior to that event. No one outside of the summits will see any snow with that. Maybe a slushy 1-2" on the picnic tables at 4k but aside from that, its a nice rainy FROPA, lol. Logan11
Wonder why the 1000-500 thicknesses are so low. I don't understand all that goes into that, but stays under 540 all of Sunday here and up in BTV doesn't exceed about 536. I thought the torched lower few thousand feet would be reflected in that somewhat. lol.... the lowest 3,000ft of the atmosphere is going to be absolutely torched prior to that event. CoastalWx
Should be the first time in a while Logan airport goes to 32 or below next week in April. Without looking, I think it's been years for below 32 in April. It's possible it gets to 33 or 34, but it will be close.

ORH_wxman
A nice negative and wintry month with triple the snow we get and snowpack. Works for me. Wasn't long ago when some were guaranteeing an above avg March after that mild start. +3 departures after 2 weeks vaporized inside of 10 days with huge snow totals for the month in many spots.
