I thought the T-Rex went extinct after the great ocean effect snow of SW RI in '94?

The surge from Sandy near Misquamicut actually unearthed a whole family of live ones

It was the rogue wave that hit Misquamicut during a szygy that made the dinosaurs go extinct

Those critters have a scream that makes your hair stand on end. they have a social call they use that sounds like a crow being tortured. Lol

Healthy fox population = less mice which = less lyme carrying ticks.

Fox are one of my favorites to see.

Have only seen one in the past 5+ yr, mainly because we have a large and healthy coyote population.  (Larger canids tend to be very hard toward their smaller cousins.)  That one was a very happy fox, as it had a COC pheasant in its mouth.

Mostly sunny and 50 in AUG.  Snow is gone even from under the pines across the street.  Still 11" at my place this morniong, but it should be another inch (maybe 2) lower this aft.  Snowpack that's almost 50% water is pretty durable.

Pigpile by two mets, one a prom dress reporter and the other a paper airplane forecaster and then a guy whose lawn is brown but takes pictures of the neighbors lawn to show how much snow he has.

They are taking turns it was my day yesterday today is your day Steve

What a day, sitting outside for lunch. Perfect. Will be nice to see this show up consistently.Clouds are billowing, instability showers likely this afternoon.

Mid April for consistent comfort, the process is enjoyable as you get gems like today and tomorrow.
