well you know how the kids are they will jump right in. As long as the air is warm. I suffered many an ice cream headache early season in Misquamicut. 1976 Apr mid 90s, dove in and as SI says, brain squeeze from hell.

Oh they are def in lol! I had a few run ins with ice cold water in april may jumping off the boston whaler in my younger days with a little help from bud and weiser.

Fox was out this week. Killed all but one of my neighbor's 16 chickens. He was hovering around our chicken coop yesterday a.m. Beautiful creature.

Yeah we had one in the yard last week. Call foghorn leghorn, is you a chicken or is you a hawk. Do the name of Ruby Begonia strike a familiar name in your vocabulary.

Yeah it will probably warm up for several days..maybe a week and then tank again with cut offs and chilly rains into May.  LOL

I won't root for cold wx after 4/10 if snow chances just give way to cold rain chances. But from about June onward I always root for colder airmasses because I hate heat.

All busting aside, we should warm up fairly nicely after the 10th and may continue througn the end of the month..at least for the northeast in general. We know the caveats here.

I just wonder about the deep pockets of cold in Canada, somehow when I see that it all I can think of is backdoor season is approaching.

Yeah that's why I mentioned the caveats, but looks like zonal flow with the jet lifting north. At least for now. This is more in the 11-15 day and beyond.

Looking forward to fishing season. Chillax with a cold one and nothing on my mind. Before that though spring skiing will be sweet. Last weekend for the Beast border to border snow too. Looks to me like after a warm weekend and a warm Monday we have a chance for the elusive anafrontal snow.
