A most orderly meltdown....some mud but not too bad as the sunny days dry it up.  Just slow and steady no flooding rainstorms, the ground just soaking it up.  A few of the early bulbs are popping up.  A very nice year for sugaring.  Hoping that the rubber band snaps sometime in mid or late April and we go to glorious warm spring.

Sounds like my family Easters growing up. Are you or the wife Lithuanian? Polish?

No, wife is Irish, I am Hungarian/Italian, just love that kind of food on Easter, when we are with my family its more traditional Italian fare.

Happy Easter!

Yeah, enjoy! I'm from a Lithuanian family and Kielbasa is mandatory on holidays. Lol.

I'm actually going to my neighbors annual horseradish making party tomorrow. Nothing goes better with meat than a little horseradish and beer.

You as well Steve:) Enjoy the Easter Egg hunt, hopefully the weather holds.  Water temp down off Pawleys is 54, frigid compared to last year, but things look to really warm up quickly starting this weekend, if we can get it up to 60-65 we are in it. Very shallow waters so there is hope!just want to get in some waves really can't wait.

well you know how the kids are they will jump right in. As long as the air is warm. I suffered many an ice cream headache early season in Misquamicut. 1976 Apr mid 90s, dove in and as SI says, brain squeeze from hell.

Were there ever any severe thunderstors or ocean effect snows?
