Now that Ryan has a home Davis 2 station you will see him join our side. He will no longer be able to say the dew at the airport is 63 when all other areas where people live and have foliage are walking around with furniture stuck to their azz with dews in the low 70's

Maybe you can finally get your Davis online after deep winter ends. I think you're technologically capable.

No, He won't, He would actually have to use his own numbers to verify his reasoning's instead of finding a near by station that fits the criteria

The new West Chesterfield !  Or at least the northern ORH County facsimile.

Hubbdave posted good snowpack yesterday too...so its not just me. West Chesterfield would be an island of snow with bare grass in every town surrounding it. That area to th enorth of me is doing even better than I am.

I actually thought of Ray when I posted that...but he wasn't on enough this winter to qualify. He didn't have enough at bats. So you win the Crown this year.

Case of summer ale? But he made them count when he was, I think he had a higher pct with less at bats

The big one was obviously Mar 6-8. You guys mostly missed that one. 23" of fairly high water content...it wasn't complete paste, but it had a lot of water in there. The Blizzard in February probably had more water down here too even though it was cold...we had compacted wind shredded powder so the ratios really werent that good. Up there it was fluffier...esp the first half of that storm when that inverted trough was just dumping dendrites.

Yeah, The blizz was pretty fluffy early on, The winds really had an adverse effect as they were steady 30-35 mph with gust in the high 40's numerous times so the blowing and drifting was nuts, If we would of had more storms in the 10:1 ratio category we would have fared much better snow pack wise, Just a lot of bad luck and timing for the amounts we received, Besides we did miss on a few and under performed on some others, I was talking with Ekster, When i was down to the GYX WFO a couple weeks ago about the snow pack this year, Just one of those years

Hopefully next winter has some longer cold stretches. We had a decent one this winter but it happened to come when we had little snow on the ground in late January.

We def had some poorly timed torches in between storms when the snow is more vulnerable. You really need to get layers of snow to make it bulletproof. Like 3 or 4 solid snows in a row layering on eachother...then its able to withstand a torch cutter much better.
