Pretty sure if March 2012 was followed by March 2008 a toaster bath would've ended it for me already. Just for some perspective I was looking at that data last night, we had 17" at the office going into the 1st that year. It's really hard to describe this March as anything other than normal.

Too many fluffernutters this winter. 07-08 was a neverending barrage of 10:1 overrunning events. The warning events here mostly sublimated or compacted down to 1/2-3/4 of the snow total within a few days.

Oh, well.  Conditions should prolong an already successful sugaring season, though.

Meanhwile, if there are any more tired jokes about how someones remaining snow screams springtime, golf. mugs, jugs, etc., I'm going to scream.  Worst thread ever

33.5/29, looks like a light dusting overnight.

What should we discuss in the spring thread Mike, Always open for suggestions?

Yes, That was the problem here as well, To many fluff bombs, Followed by a warm up or a rainstorm

Just wait when you're golfing in sheet drizzle. I'll remind you how awesome spring is.

yes, never talk about heat and humidity here...even in summer....we should spend July reminiscing about each winter storm of the previous winter and coming up with fantasy analogs for the next...

Has nothing to do with that..it's about wishcasting high dews from overwatered fertilizer beds and daily derechos.

I won't switch to torch mode. I'll just be in non winter mode. I'll be into the lawn , baseball , house stuff, kids sports, car washing and of course high dews

Says the guy who pretty much invented torch and morch here. It's pretty tough to run 70s dews without a torch too.

That is true.  I mean how many days does any part of NE really get into high dews in a given summer (high meaning 70+)?  And I'm sure it's even less in elevated locales...

Now that Ryan has a home Davis 2 station you will see him join our side. He will no longer be able to say the dew at the airport is 63 when all other areas where people live and have foliage are walking around with furniture stuck to their azz with dews in the low 70's

Ryan gets it. Dews 4' above the ground mean nothing to the overall environment..especially with a good wind.
