CoastalWx
Scooter multiple triple deckers on fire on Fox St Dorchester, is that near you? No, but makes sense why I heard tons of fire trucks.

Sugarloaf1989
Turns out some guy who was reading this thread thought it was going to be hot and tried turning on his AC which caused the whole building to go up the 1-3" of snow overnight should help to put out that fire. Ginx snewx
That's like saying that just because people prefer bitter cold and snow, they should be forced to spend the night out side naked.I knew that was coming, my window is open most of the time, like it 55 or so. Ever work outside for extended periods in the heat? You can always put more clothes on in the cold and they make all kinds of body Warmers, try digging a ditch or climb under a house to fix something when it's 95/74 and tell me again how wonderful high dews are. Yuppified nation.

I can play outside all day in severe cold, get the dews up and I seek water or AC. 80/50 is perfect

moneypitmike
Well, the meh winter at the Pit took a big hit today. Patches exposed in the near yard. The field still has 2=3" solid, and down the hill there's sitll a ton. But up top, spring is in the air. 37.5/29. Today's high 47.5, low of 29.3. I think that's 11* above Hubb's low. free_man
Still 98% snowcover in the high hills, but the lower elevations are 50/50. Below 300' has very little.

N. OF PIKE
I love it. Heat blows. That weather is just pissah. after doing a few stints that add up to over a decade in florida, I don't care for (but can handle) 95/75 if I had to. The fun part in s fl is its 94/75 every afternoon ten miles from the ocean from late may to early october without more than a day off some years. Think about that for a moment. Not one nite below 72/70 for at least 4 months where I was. T storms poppin w a gusty fart.

Well (speaking for an amazing 7 days of life experience in it)... you can just slow it down...it is survivable, but not preferable. Wtf are we talking about high dews tonight for. Gawd almighty It might snow here tonight

weatherMA
This is the current forecast for Sox/Yanks opener that Kevin told us all would be snowed out...maybe the temps will drop abruptly after noon and snow will accumulate 3-6"? Maybe 6-12"? Mostly sunny, with a high near 54. I mean, wow, 54 and sunny, just never ending winter!!!!
