Mr Torchey
LOL 53 and mostly sunny in the late afternoon in March, this weather is awful, just pull down the shades and look away!!!
Mr Torchey
Well you weenies have fun, put on an extra shawl for the above normal weather this holiday weekend, and make sure to run around naked for a couple days next week on those below normal days. Torch is right on target for mid April, possibly a day or two early. Until then its just really nice weather to get out and enjoy being outside and accomplishing things around the house. Kev, enjoy the glacier, its the only glacier you got!!! Have fun ladies.
ORH_wxman
I'm cutting the grass when I get home...must be growing by now after this stretch of full-on spring weather. I'll be shocked if any semblance of winter greets me back home. Should be good to take the boat out on Chaffin Pond and throw a few lines in...ice-out within hours today during this torch. Dogwoods should be in full bloom after today.
Damage In Tolland
MORCH!! @BradNBCCT: despite today's high of 55 F...because it was so cold this morning (25 F), today is the 14th consecutive day of below normal daily temps.!

It was 56 here and the sun was out (in the valley) for a while today. So certainly not "warm" but it definitely was a pretty nice day... especially since the snow is long gone here and the mud has dried up.

CT Rain
He had that overcast fetish for awhile last year, remember? Ugh it drove me crazy. Everyday was bitterly cold at the beach meanwhile you'd look at the beach cam and it was heavy bikinis and speedos.

Spring can and does involve snow, just like fall. Everyone posts about how invigorating the 40s feel in the fall after a hot summer, why can't it be the same in the spring after a cold winter? This thread is amongst the top 5 worst in our history. It's also one of the funniest. We should all probably just stay inside till this cold weather passes. No one can believe you would go outside to do anything other than tan or swim in the pool.

That bare spot is going to spread like cancer unless you go over there and cover it up. Once you get open ground, the sun is going to heat that ground quickly and it'll be eating snow fast. I'll even take a break from painting to come down there with a snow gun to cover it up. You got a fire hydrant I could hook up to? Oh wait it's not below freezing to make snow, I forgot its spring. Pardon the mess, I had already ripped out most of the plants in front of it.
