50F and sun is nice this time of year to be outdoors in. I don't see the big deal in enjoying or wanting this wx instead of a useless sloppy inches of snow that will melt in a heartbeat. With that said, I'll gladly take more snow, but this is nice too.

Yeah.  I figured as much.  I've got to tell you though, that moon kills me at night.  In my window for a good amount of time when I'm trying to sleep.  I need to get some heavy duty curtains.  It's only certain times of the year when it lingers in the south/ west like that for long periods of time.

+1 but at least it's less of a nusiance now that the snowcover is gone because the reflection off of the snow made it much brighter.

Steve,

Do you still have any snow on the ground?

I ask because I was up on rte 101 yesterday, and right at the state line into r.i. there was some decent snow still in the woods - R.I. side. Very interesting scene over there compared to many other spots less than a few miles away from that hill in Foster.

spots in the woods but top of the hill has snow

WhAt will you be doing outside today to enjoy your nice weather? Maybe it will give others an idea of some things they too can do to enjoy 48 and a sun/ cloud mix

The golf part is a no brainer, I have always been able to play in march every year, Cape has always been a fine destination early

Course Report (updated March 26th, 2013)

Well,
the snow is certainly melting away quickly, and we are inching closer
to opening day... As long as the milder temps keep coming, we should be
able to think about an opening date some time next week!
We are very
excited to kick-off the brand new season, and we are certain that 2013
will be a brilliant golf year for us all... Stay tuned!

Has anyone ever heard of shades? I mean wtf. Pull the shades down if the noon bothers you. I have never heard anything more ridiculous than some of these posts the last few days . The moon was great running at 4:30 this morning reflecting off the deep snowcover. It lit the way for me

No.  What bothers me is garage clutter but that's another story.

It's my wife and her "conlonial"  looking curtains to go with our 1780 house.  But, last night was the first time that it affected her and she actually mentioned getting some kind of shade.

As expected... the sun is off-setting the cold pattern and lurching temps into the 50s today.   This is how it happens... it'll do this daily, and the thickness medium overall will begin to respond, and then that gets integrated into the larger scale circulation system ... eventually effecting the actual pattern.    Fun to watch.
