Mr Torchey
Not everyday can yield -6 departures like they have. Yesterday was a -2 the day before a +1 day before a -3.............its pretty much just normal March weather.
CoastalWx
Yesterday was a -2 the day before a +1 day before a -3.............its pretty much just normal March weather. -2 or -3 isn't all that normal..just as a +2 or +3 is not normal. We detroyed those massive + departures earlier in the month. More to come over the next two weeks.

CoastalWx
wow really i think +2 or 3 on a day is basically la nadda. Well if that's the case, then a +3 month would be no big deal. You could argue that a +3 month is a big deal since that means a prolonged warm spell would have to cause those departures, but +3 is pretty mild. Of course it does not work that easy and our departures usually come as a measure of extremes.

I do not look at a +2 +3or -2 -3 DAY as extreme at all lol, actually totally MEH. Anything -5 +5 and over for a daily departure is more significant and double digits very impressive, I really dont think many people look at a +2 day in any month as a big deal
Damage In Tolland
Got home a little while ago and with all the talk of flowers, spring warmth and sunburns I thought I'd be able to have a catch and hit some fungos to the kids in the yard but when I got home I saw this?? CoastalWx
LL you are also assuming it's equal..like the departure for a high and low. If the avg high is 48 and avg low is 34 and the low happened to be 34 but the high 42..that's meh? I doubt it.
Mr Torchey
I'm not wrong. a +3 day is not normal. Ok Scott lol +3 and -3 are now extreme daily departures. I will remember that next winter................enjoy this great night, what a weekend coming up, going to be so nice getting Baby Bryce out and about this spring and summer, makes life so much easier especially as they get older! Happy Passover and Happy Easter:)

If one of the ladies gets lazy I will hit shots just out of her reach on purpose, they get the hint.

Baroclinic Zone
What a beautiful evening. Just finished a 90 min outdoor soccer practice on the local field. No mud. Ground not even frozen. Mostly sunny in the mid to upper 40s. Practice again Thursday and 1st game this Saturday.

But this is high atop the lofty Mt. Tolland. These are the types of images we routinely see through June up there, right? In fact, isn't there a federal clause that you delay Memorial Day celebrations by a month?
