I have been saying how much this reminds me of 96. That was an amazing end game, put me over 100 way down south in RI.

Its like '96 except without the torch for a week after 3/15...we had our torch the week before 3/15 right after the 3/6-8 storm. I recall '96 getting cold again the last week of the month and then it stuck around until about 4/12 or so. We had those great back to back storms on 4/7 and then 4/9-10. The 4/7 storm was Easter Sunday. It started ripping around 4pm I recall during Easter dinner.

Going to finish up throwing the rest of my snowbanks into the road to melt tonight, Its great to be outside working around the yard in this fine spring weather

I turned over the beds and stacked the 6 trees we lost and had cut up, one more 55footer to cut up, cotton wood so it's useless, mfer to split.

Funny dynamic.

I'm seeing lots of people out BBQing, tanning, throwing the frisbee, mowing their lawn, planting flowers...etc. Maybe even a few shucking some oysters.

Oh wait, its 39F with 8-10" of snow on the ground mid-afternoon on 3/26 and people were still out ice fishing yesterday. Looks like spring to me!

LOL. Even with this downslope Dandy and sunshine..it's 47 here. Not exactly chilly..but full sun brings to 60 more often than not this time of year with a normal 850 temp.

Yeah when you are struggling to hit 50F with full sun, its not exactly a spring airmass. Obviously the sun is a lot stronger now than mid-winter so we warm up an extra 10-12F with full sun, but its still a far cry than what we normally see on sunny days when its almost April.

Lets hope we can throw some moisture at those -14C 850 temps.

Depends where you live.  I have not had snowpack since a week after the March snowstorm.  All snow that has fallen since has melted within 24h of it falling.  Ice has been non-existent on ponds in SE MA for a few weeks now as well.  I got a sunburn a week ago at a soccer tournament in Epping, NH.  Neighborhood kids have been out playing football/ basketball/ soccer/ riding bikes for a couple weeks now.  Feels like Spring to me.
