LOL at GiNx loving cold and sunny in April...........the guy loves the beach, probably already dreaming about body surfing.

excuse me where did I say I love it? Just stating what the long term looks like. Softball practices start this week a tickle at 50 with dews in the 20s and cloud cover this week is going to be pretty cold for my players. I think about body surfing come July.

I recall March 1996 as very cold with a freezing rain event mid-month and 4" of snow on April 9th, when I lived in Queens, N.Y.

Mar 1996 was really cold early on that month but after mid-month it got farily warm. We got back into a cold pattern in early April with 2 snow events that season.

Its so funny watching winter lovers lose it knowing that spring and summer are in the cross hairs.  Jeez, but I do understand 22 out of the last 24 months have been above normal. For a cold lover, its been beyond brutal, but we have had so much snow, so who cares!!!

SW ct winter rolls on, bdr 8th snowiest city in America, gonna move up again LOL

I mean what the heck is going on? Its march in new england and people expect 75 because we have had such warm springs lately.

Man, we are going to break out into a big torch mid month, once this block rots.

LOL, what a thread! If it has been a warm March, I would love to see what a hot March would have been like. Maybe highs in the 50's and lows in the 30's?

Who said it was a warm March? Although most sne climo sites were +2-+3 through mid month.

Does March now fall under the warm season umbrella?

Wasn't that the case for summer 2012 across the U.S?

I hope not, just for the sake of our farmer friends in the Lower Mid-West suffering through a record drought.

Not sure I know last year was the warmest in recorded history for ct and mass.

Snowfall over the last three years here was been all over the place here with 93.7" for 2010-2011, 29.3" for 2011-2012 and 102.7" so far for 2012-2013, I wonder if warmer temps come into play with this eratic snowfall?
