ORH_wxman
10 straight days without highs getting above the 30s here. We didn't manage that in January. Same here...day 10 in the 30s with the highest temp during that stretch of 37F which was today. Still have over a foot of snowpack. The lower 8" or so is like a complete cement glacier. The top part gets soft during the day and freezes solid at night.

CT Rain
Ryan's forecasting mid 50's next weekend. Interesting to say the least 48-52 on Saturday. Still below climo. What should I have done? Getting to 50 this time of year is nothing... cold push will moderate by next weekend.

I love how Kevin thinks 50s are impossible in this pattern lol I don't think they're impossible along the coast if it downslopes. But it's not going to be in the 50;s in the hills and suburbs where most folks live At any rate..your favorite time of year is here. temp talk and spring time. This should make LL very happy when he sees your forecast.

Even a brief respite with some mixing and higher 850s can get us to 50F without much problem. The pattern still looks, however, solidly below normal and according to the Euro looks like an impressive reload by D10.
