Cold Miser
Happy Spring Fling everyone!!! SW CT Winter Lives on!!! It somehow made it up this way too. Will, Epic. Just epic. Congrats on the white Easter next week. I love how the snow on the roof almost looks sprayed on like they do for Hollywood movies sometimes - Thinking Steve Martin's movie, Father of The Bride, where is "snowed" in L.A. and it was so fake looking. ORH_wxman
Will no offense but that snowpack looks brutal, how are you enjoying it ? Sledding? Snowshoeing ? Snow slushies? It makes the landscape look gorgeous....much better than dead foliage and dormant grass. I love the look of a winter landscape. Perhaps you don't. I go out for walks all the time when we have a snow covered landscape and take it all in. Same reason some people like to sit their fannies in the sand on a beach and stare out at the ocean. dendrite
10 straight days without highs getting above the 30s here. We didn't manage that in January.
Sugarloaf1989
In the last few days of March it sure is It's not deep no matter what the time of year, it's impressive to have cover at this point in the year, but that still does not make it deep. The sun is melting it very slowly and alot more of it will melt with temps in the 40's next week.
