Mr. Windcredible!
not trying to be a debbie as it certainly looks cold with chances of snow even down here. wish all those that want snow well, hope you get yours. I have noticed that the green up has started down here. lack of long lasting snow cover over the last few weeks and longer days help. even though it was chilly yesterday, the lack of wind and mid day filtered sun made it quite bearable. Haven't noticed much greening up around here other than the daffodils starting to poke through. So Morch hasn't worked out this year, but not really a shock...we were over due for a cold and snowy one. Personally I love snow, and don't mind the cold so long as there are chances for wintry precip. But here at the shoreline taint and plain rain is always an issue this time of year, which is why I generally would take Morch than a few tainted events that melt within hours. In any event, the warmth will be here eventually, the lengthening days will make sure of that. The more it gets delayed the sweeter it will be when it arrives! Allsnow
It's amazing how cold 850's are for this time of year, and the longevity of it. It's really something that's very uncommon
Mr Torchey
Everything gone here but hoping for a surprise tomorrow! And banking on next week really want to see BDR make a run at 80+ inches, just shy of 65 right now. I think 20 more inches is very doable. Lets do this! Yeah surprised at lack of melt. Compaction with ice on top and strong winds with lower dews helping out. Creates a mini evaporational cooling layer.
