I've embraced my snow pack...very well documented that I take walks and snap pics of my snow. I like it.

But I certainly won't be convinced this is nice weather by the 43F and overcast fetish crowd. I'll take 33F and overcast over this garbage anyday to keep the snow pack looking fresher and landscape devoid of melting and mud.

True, didn't realize you guys were overcast with rain showers.

I think my sometimes unrealistic enjoyment of weather this time of year comes from the sun. I do notice a mood shift from the sun this time of year. After a long dark NNE winter (going to work at 4am in the dark, then getting home in the dark) I get almost giddy with the long sunshine this time of year.

I'd say that this area also is likely one of the cloudiest around most of the year (while upslope is nice, upslope clouds for days get old), and we had a legit 2 week period without sun in early March and late Feb.

But this time of year we start seeing more sun and the clouds shift to the coast.

Plus it's just fun to join the trolling sometimes. ;)

Enjoy the snow if you've got it.

When I get home I'm going to die Easter eggs with the girls out in the driveway. It will still be warm . Probably around 40 or so and it will be cloudy. I will take my shirt off and hope to catch some reflective color on my back from the sun burning thru the clouds off of the snow. I might even have a bonnet on with long tassels hanging down on each side

Nice, I might try out my soccer legs on the field...we'll use an orange ball though as the local field is still covered in snow...but that's just a minor nuisance and no excuse to miss out on this awesome weather today.

I'll risk a few slushy sprints to savior the 38F and cloudy skies that are likely to be accompanying us by dusk. It really doesn't get better than that during the Best Spring Ever.

Please kill them first before you "die" them

especially those that heat with oil.  Spot price around here has hit close to $5 at times this winter

Yeah, its ridiculous.  Either way, heating is expensive and if there's no snow falling, cold is a money drain.  Preserving snowpack in late March and April with 30's and 40's...meh.

But yeah...yesterday was an above normal day temp-wise and people were still trying to convince us it was mid winter lol. Spring doesn't mean tanning and going boating like some here seem to think...in March it means 40s/50s and wearing a sweatshirt instead of being freezing walking outside. It's really not that bad out.

It looks like mid-winter here. Though I can understand from the viewpoint in Plymouth NH where theres been bare ground most of the winter how you would not see it from our angle back home.

Plymouth has probably had the same amount of days of snow depth as ORH, and has probably done better than my house lol. Plymouth holds snow pretty well, but its bare now because we were melting a 8-10" pack not 20". We also only had like 59" not 109" but still had a 15" snowpack for a 4 week period 2/8 to 3/8 or so.

LOL. More like face reality. I would love a snowstorm on July 4th. But 48F and sunny is just not cold to me.

Maybe I should have gone to FGCU.

Plymouth NH sucks for snow. He would be better going to UNH.

He will never see a 20" storm up there...its awful for big storms. Its like Ithaca but holds the snow better. Nickle and dime.
