CIK62
Storm is now near 40N, 67.5W so it is missing the BM by some 165 miles to the east. Also moving very fast and will be near Nova Scotia by sunset as a 962mb.low. Potential for snow even in New England looks limited.
TWCCraig
1.0" here. Nice little snow event. The strong winds are blowing some of the snow around too.
Guest Pamela
Per the PNS, best total I could find for L.I. was 3.0" at Bridgehampton....so it did not quite pan out as I thought.

The banding late overnight looked quite impressive, so I'm somewhat surprised there weren't higher totals. But the dry air coming in really put a damper on things I guess. We were under decent echos for a time but managed nothing but stray flurries. All in all it did what I thought it would do-bomb too late for us, and swipe eastern New England with better stuff.
