OceanStWx
I must be looking at satellite imagery and mesoanalysis wrong, because the NAM just looks to far to the east in its track up the coastline. The surface low will be in the concave part of the emerging cloud (or cusp) that I drew in black. This would put it more due east of HSE. Like we've said not far off, but a few miles is everything. It's pretty much a done deal then, wagons east.

Quincy
BOS now had dew down to 21. Wtf? 23z HRRR doesn't even have their 2m RH reaching 80% until midnight. Then things gradually saturate.

eduggs
So you don't think this is going to work out? Seems high in NH and NE Mass and comparatively low in CT. We'll see how that works out.

HIPPYVALLEY
DP's are low teens out here with single digits to my N in VT. A lot of dry air over NE. Boston to CC could still do well (and hopefully do!) but I don't think anyone inalnd should be expecting much. Kevin will be jogging under cirrus in the morning w/ maybe a heavy coating for a consolation prize.

CoastalWx
So you don't think this is going to work out? I meant for BOS. I stayed about 3-6 here with the caveat of more if banding sets in, but as you know..I was never on the GFS circus tour since yesterday.

RIcoastalWX
32.3/30 - Light to occasionally Moderate Snow continues. Light NNE (010 - 030). 1 inch of new snow Roads now starting to get covered as temps have finally gotten to 32. 32.3 was exactly where my temp was for at least the first half of the blizzard. Lost as many tree's here as I did with Sandy. Hoping that temp continues to fall and the snow dries out.

radarman
In Wilmington for the night. Maybe an overperformer can verify bottom end warning? Tonight isn't the best example but meteorologically it really is a lot different coming east 100 miles.

I have a friend (only lurks here) who is a snow lover and lives in Jamestown and I'm psyched he's had a few measurable events to track this year. Some years are complete shutouts for coastal RI. I was impressed how much snow was still otg in Northampton today because they torched a lot worse than up here this week.
CT Rain
Pretty cool to watch the band of frontogenesis produce a band of snow only to get sublimated alive by the northerly winds advecting dry air in the BL.

I was impressed how much snow was still otg in Northampton today because they torched a lot worse than up here this week. A bit less but it's close. I tried to ski at the country club in Belchertown today and was shocked at how little was left in sunny spots, but in my yard there's still 10-12 or something. The 3.5" from last night didn't hold up very well but was a small gain.
