N. OF PIKE
scott not to beat a dead horse but does the gfs handle the Ny state short wave much differently from rest of guidance i.e euro
weathafella
Does any of that include what fell this morning post 12z though? If not I would go 2-4 to ORH, 4-6 right along coast, and 6-10 on cape. With the GFS west and everything else east I think I'd almost use the EC verbatim for my forecast. Lol....like the 0.05? dendrite
He gets around .3 which suggests 3+ considering this is high ratio stuff. Well we can nitpick contours all day...looks like 0.25" is near him...maybe a hair to his east, and 0.50" runs from GHG to Narr. Bay with the really good stuff confined to the Cape. CT Rain
Put your glasses on then. It's 2-4 With about 0.1" of QPF... I doubt it. I'll be surprised if I wind up going more than C-1" for you at 6.
weatherMA
Lol....like the 0.05? Hey, .2 versus .25 makes a difference. My house had like 2.5" this morning but I wasn't home, not sure how much was after 12z.
weathafella
SV maps have him under .25 I'm guiestimqting but the sv I have has him well within 0.25. Remember he's in the ne corner probably 10 miles from the ma border.

Baroclinic Zone
Well we will see. I don't completely toss any guidance 24 hrs out, but I do think the GFS may be a bit too amped. It just gets weighted with the other 12z guidance. SREFs, Euro, NavGEM are middle of the road with the GFS the most robust and the RGEm, GGEM, Ukie the Eastern outliers. No reasn to stray too far from last night honestly. 6"+ for CC 4-6" for PYM counties 3-5" for Bristol/Norfolk and so on and so forth.
Damage In Tolland
With about 0.1" of QPF... I doubt it. I'll be surprised if I wind up going more than C-1" for you at 6. Your qpf is off. Brian and Jerry both have me close to .

CT Rain
Your qpf is off. Brian and Jerry both have me close to .25 I'll stick with the WSI maps. You may tickle 0.15" but it's spread out and quite light. For back here in CT it's a sizable jump east from 00z to 12z so it's quite possible most of the state (including your area) sees only a trace. A bad run for us... was hoping it would hold serve from 00z.

dendrite
Your qpf is off. Brian and Jerry both have me close to .25 I'd estimate your 48hr QPF at 54hr to be around 0.20". Not worth nitpicking though...it's a glancing hit for you.
CT Rain
Congrats Rollo Phil. CCAir Force, Ackwaves and the rest of our SEMA crew Should be a nice storm for them. They may actually come close to bizzard criteria on the Cape with a quick hitter.

ag3
Looks like maybe 0.25" to ORH. After 1pm: .20" for ORH .38" for Boston .99" for ACK .39" for MTP
N. OF PIKE
No. Euro qpf is under 0.05 at 6 hours and under 0.1 by 7 tonight. thanks! love that euro gets deform into bos i may stay in salem ma tonite instead of wakefield (10 miles west) lol
CoastalWx
scott not to beat a dead horse but does the gfs handle the Ny state short wave much differently from rest of guidance i.e euro That moved out of the way to allow this to tick west. The biggest difference I see is the GFS deepening the vortmax more than the euro and allowing everything to tick W.I actually thought some features improved over the 00z euro..lol.
