Well we will see. I don't completely toss any guidance 24 hrs out, but I do think the GFS may be a bit too amped.

It just gets weighted with the other 12z guidance.  SREFs, Euro, NavGEM are middle of the road with the GFS the most robust and the RGEm, GGEM, Ukie the Eastern outliers.  No reasn to stray too far from last night honestly.  6"+ for CC 4-6" for PYM counties 3-5" for Bristol/Norfolk and so on and so forth.

Your qpf is off. Brian and Jerry both have me close to .25

I'll stick with the WSI maps. You may tickle 0.15" but it's spread out and quite light.

For back here in CT it's a sizable jump east from 00z to 12z so it's quite possible most of the state (including your area) sees only a trace. A bad run for us... was hoping it would hold serve from 00z.

You didn't even have Internet last nite, so you're not quite up to par yet. I expect 2-4 here

scott not to beat a dead horse but does the gfs handle the Ny state short wave much differently from rest of guidance i.e euro

That moved out of the way to allow this to tick west. The biggest difference I see is the GFS deepening the vortmax more than the euro and allowing everything to tick W.I actually thought some features improved over the 00z euro..lol.
