weathafella
Looks like you season is saved if the GFS is right. Two blizzards. Looks like the Cape would get pounded. What do you think of this Wes. Can we believe the gfs now 24 hours out?

#NoPoles
It closes off H5 quicker which means better WAA and ATL inflow. You and Phil have had good thoughts with this. Hopefully the rest of guidance falls into place...if it does...then I was too poo poo. We'll see. just take a breather...it would totally suck to have a brain aneurysm, or heart attack before the event even happens...then you miss all the good stuff
Baroclinic Zone
Does it get all of ct? Graphics suck on my telefono It's still a pretty sharp cutoff. 0.5" E of the CT river with 0.1" at the CT/NY border.

Quincy
I'm nervous though..It is the GFS..so we need to simmer down a bit If Kev says simmer, then that's a big red flag. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the 00z Euro tickle back to the west too? Only briefly checked from my phone.
usedtobe
What do you think of this Wes. Can we believe the gfs now 24 hours out? The crude Euro also looks pretty good doesn't it? It believe it and the euro more than the NAM but this is a bust waiting to happen.

Huge bust potential. The banding goes insane at 12z in ern MA and almost into CT.

SouthCoastMA
This could be the storm that puts the GFS out of commission. Hope its right though.
weathafella
Can we really buy the GFS? Well what about the euro? It was similar. Euro had you and I with 4-8.
Quincy
Based on the latest radar compared to simulated hi-res NAM radar, I think the GFS/Euro camp has initialized better, although I'd be cautious about GFS bullish numbers. Especially with NAM/RGEM more conservative.
Clinch Leatherwood
The conjures up some memories if good times... Lol Why are the globals so bullish and the mesos not? This bothers me. It does, and it should, but I have a hard time believing both the GFS/Euro are wrong on this one. I don't mind the NAM stinking, the RGEM being blah bothers me the most and will be a reason to closely monitor this even if the 18z GFS continues to be bullish as is the Euro. Caution to the wind, go with a GEFS/Euro blend, 4-8 or 5-10 on the Cape, 50 knot gusts, power outages etc..., not sure about the rest of you.
