Chris L
What would define strong difluence on the 200 mb map and strong confluence or vice versa (weak difluence and weak confluence?) And how would this help and analyze and chrun up east coast cyclogenesis?? Jet Streaks are quite complex and would love to understand more, but in a more layman manner of course. The Right left exit and all that, what are the keys to having strong cyclogenesis for (exit or entrance regions of jet). Another thing, this might sound stupid.... but how do we determine a very strong STJ or a very weak STJ (or polar jet and so forth)? I know the basics, but really would like to know more.. Thanks again.
