jm1220
Very impressive coming from the Euro, nowcasting time. This event is a miniature version of January 25, 2000. However many times it can be said that this event is nothing like 1/25/2000, I guess it'll never stick, just like the snow that falls overnight. Still not bad for eastern LI. Really close for the whole NYC area.

MJO812
I'm holding my ground about this event. ag3
Rgem, Ukmet and Nam are much, much less for SNE and eastern LI. GFS is the major outlier of the 12z suite right now. I would urge caution for the eastern folks and SNE folks until after the 12z euro.

jasonli18t
All of those models have less verification scores than the GFS. Nice try though. why so hostile? and in this timeframe i am fairly certain at least the rgem is on par, if not better than the GFS. Simply urging caution is entirely logical. You think it is more logical to take the GFS and run with it? check your arrogance at the door.

Nice try though.Hes not wrong- consensus as of now favors a more easterly solution, though 00z euro came west, lets see 12z first, let the suite complete with cautious optimism
