Strong case to banish northern Marylanders as well.

sorry... my elevation helps a LOT with marginal events like this, but for most significant snows my area is in much of the same boat as the IAD to BWI area..>DCA just sucks.  I just get a ton of these 1-3" events that boost my average.

well this was a nice surprise, going on 3" almost now, picked up an inch in the last 30 mins.  back to only 1"/hr rates now I would say.  Maybe another 1/2" before it shuts off looking at radar.  Definitely going to top 3.

Wow that is awesome.  Congrats.

Hoping for some southern MD luck tomorrow night -- going to Wes territory (northern Calvert) to visit the folks tomorrow.

Oh hi, how you doing. We were wondering how much you'd get. 3-5" for you.

Rain here, with nothing on radar.

sorry... I think later next week we all have a chance to cash in on something.  The blocking looks really strong, one of these waves has to be forced to our south.

Started out as rain when I left work and around 28 and Waxpool Rd it became more snow then rain and by the time I hit Nokes Blvd near dulles town center it was all snow, big ole flakes smacking against the window. Time I got home near Wegmans on Rt 7, it was few flakes and drizzle. Now sitting at 33* here
