AvantHiatus
Hmm? In what way? They are actually colder than I expected. The timing with this system could of been better but there appears to be a consistent snowband on the northwest side that will impact the Philly area later. famartin
They are actually colder than I expected. The timing with this system could of been better but there appears to be a consistent snowband on the northwest side that will impact the Philly area later. First, I should note that my forecast thoughts are usually TTN centric. A band may indeed develop down near or east of PHL, but the issue appears to be a center jump from primary to secondary lows. The heavy snow in N KY/SW OH is going to head NE into SW PA and fall apart, with a new band developing with the secondary. The earlier runs of the NAM had a weaker primary and a stronger secondary, with no precip in Cincinatti where instead heavy snow has fallen.
