WidreMann
Despite the new bands of snow, we actually have even less snow on the ground than before. The sky is light.
eyewall
This is one of those that is tough to call an accurate amount because it depends on the surface used to measure. On the grass some spots got up to 1/2" here before rates let up and a little melted again.

magpiemaniac
I'll take some of that. Heaviest snow I've seen today thus far at the moment. Maybe we can sneak a dusting in before it all melts after it calms down. You should have seen the flakes before you woke up this morning. They were big. Of course, jack squat is sticking. WidreMann
We are losing the accumulation we had despite snow ongoing. At least you got some with this recent band. CoolBreeze
Still light, small flakes falling here at 34 degrees. As others have said, things are filling in on the radar in the Foothills. Pop that popcorn!! I agree with an earlier post: just sit back and enjoy whatever you see falling - don't fret that you're not getting more. When I was younger I did the same thing. Now, I've learned to just enjoy what is here right in front of me. Don't missout on what you have by worrying about what someone else is getting... Just some thoughts...relax !! I'm going outside to walk around and enjoy the snow! (and there's nothing on the ground here either!!!)
NC Snow
16z RAP shows ECG still getting atleast 0.5" of qpf. Let's pray most of this falls as snow! Some areas just to our NW appear to get even more!
Brick Tamland
Been snowing here since 10:00. Started out with big fluffy flakes. Roads are already starting to get slushy. I think this started a lot earlier than forecasted and is going to end up being a lot more than thought by most people.

Cold Rain
Big snow band setting up just to my west and relative min just to my east. One mile either way is going to make all the difference.
