superjames1992
Very light snow continues in High Point. Tiny flakes with nothing sticking. It's picking up some now, but if we want it to stick, it better start pouring because the mid-day February sun angle (it's almost noon) and warm soil temps aren't helping. DLI4SCwx
It's been snowing up in the Sandhills area. That's good stuff! Hopefully that will make it's way down into the heart of Cola town. 0z GFS last night was downright tastey for us, today, not so much. It's now time anyways. I'm watching the surface pressure change and just not seeing much. Is it just too soon to be showing much surface reflection of the upper air dynamics? Poimen
given radar and 12Z guidance I'd think several locations along and east of HWY 1 and north of HWY 64 could easily get 2" of snow before all is said and done. After a brief lessening of the rates, we are back to moderate snow here and the temp has finally budged off of that 37 mark. Down to 36 and everything is white (except roads).
