metalicwx366
I think my question got lost in another post....I'll ask again. Is there a preferred radar site that works well on an iPad?Also, looking at radar, it looks like the line of precip that is over us now, is about to end. Is this a situation where that another line will develop?Stopped snowing here in midtown ATM.Main show should come in this afternoon if models are correct. That was just the appetizer. NCSNOW
I just rode over to Jackson Creek and saw no snow sticking to anything.[/quote Because It's not even snowing in Jackson creek anymore. The line/front is gone now. It's all up to a coastal developing and I'm not holding my breath for that one.

What are you talking about? I bet Washington ends up with 2-4" by the time tomorrow morning rolls around.....for whats it is worth MHX is calling for 1-3" there and I suspect if anything they are off on the low side. weatherheels
Light Snow has been falling for a little while now in Kville. Doesn't look like much on radar but looks great to see snow falling when u wake up, that's a rarity for us SE folk.

mackerel_sky
Sadly for me,looking at the radar,I think this is the main event, just starting early.the band is pretty much where the models were showing.I don't see it going or expanding NW any.temp here imby is slowly rising.band is about 30 miles S of me.Congrats to Charlotte and Columbia
kvegas-wx
Appetizer over and not a single flake stuck. As NC Snow mentioned earlier, simply not enough in the way of precip rates to overcome 2m temps. Love to see the snow but this one is likely a no-go for accums here in the triad. Looks to me like the triangle and east will net the higher qpfs but probably nothing to show for it either. This was oh so close!

Looks like I have a little bit more to learn! I guess I'm just being pessimistic about temperatures and when the rain will transition to snow. Poimen
the 12Z NAM looks somewhat interesting for the Traingle and points east/NE (moreso than previous runs). 39 and just rain here, still.

nchighcountrywx
Seems to be a stop and go thing. Stopped for a bit. Now snowing again. Moderately Ay suggestions on best radar for an iPad? For iPad: Best Radar: Radarscope with ImapRadar integration for Level3 radar data with dual-pole products. Add the Allisonhouse integration for storm attribs, storm reports and spotter data Next Best Radar: Weather tap. Use the full site or the mobile interface on the iPad

downeastnc
Looks like I have a little bit more to learn! I guess I'm just being pessimistic about temperatures and when the rain will transition to snow. The temps will not crash until AFTER the snow starts so expect it to be light rain and temps in the upper 30's low 40's. You shouldn't expect to see any flakes before say 3-4 this afternoon. Robert
That's the way it looks for me here over in Union county too. The Back edge is almost through here now and was only rain. Not 1 flake if snow in 2 years now. All snow here in Union, SC Shetley im 2 miles from the High School
