GaffneyPeach
This is getting closer and closer to a big event for CLT...just need a tiny shift east. No offense but....ummmm.....NO! Looks just fine right where it is!!
NCBlizzard
This is getting closer and closer to a big event for CLT...just need a tiny shift east. Hopefully it'll stay right there and just expand to encompass both us. I'm nervous though about the always possible bubble of warmth at 925-950 mb for my area. Robert talked about this on his facebook page.
QC_Halo
Yawn... CLT will get 3+ inches. Book it. Going to get the sleds out of storage tomorrow morning after a big pancake breakfast at OPH. When its over, ask me.

burrel2
I'm not too concerned about if snow will reach the ground. Temps are basically at or below freezing at about 950mb's and up for everyone in our area. From 950mb to the ground is only 500 feet or so. Flakes won't have a problem making it that distance especially considering how cold the air is in the higher layer's. The boundary layer will be a problem for accumulations though. I think the lee trough band that sets up can over come that though and give somebody a quick 2 or 3 inches, but who knows?? Hopefully it'll stay right there and just expand to encompass both us. I'm nervous though about the always possible bubble of warmth at 925-950 mb for my area. Robert talked about this on his facebook page.

Shawn
It would really surprise me if CAE puts wwa's out for here(Lexington/Calhoun/Richland Co) before any snow accumulates I just loaded up the 00z NAM in Bufkit, and it looks a bit more ominous for KCAE and I believe we will be just a tad colder here around Lexington. So... who knows.

DopplerWx
kcae better issue some wwa's, high res showed almost no intial rain and almost immediate snow tomorrow in the onset, plus it seems after the initial snow the lee trough will pivot east and hammer the area again
