SharonA
Neighbor says 2" hail at home (Winston,GA, which is the western strip of Douglas County just west of Douglasville). My husband got home a few minutes ago. He didn't notice any damage, but there's still unmelted hail lying around, something like an hour after it's fallen. (WHY does this stuff happen at home when I'm on out-of-town gigs???) No word from friends in Zebulon, call can't be completed. I noticed there was a report of golf-ball hail at the Atlanta Airport, too.

CandymanColumbusGA
Well... I finally saw hail! It was quite the sight and was as close to a "winter" event as I'll get this year. Some of the pictures from my viewers are incredible! My favorite is the wagon full of hail and the 3"+ hail reported south of Auburn, AL. We also had viewers say house windows were busted due to the hail. Pretty incredible weather day. www.wrbl.com/slideshow?widgetid=76455

LithiaWx
You laugh, but I am serious. The UN should the greatest military power in the world. Every country should provide a set number of troops say at least 500-1,000, and any member of the UN should also match that amount. Then this global military would act as the world police force instead. In my scenario, if America were nuked by the NK, the UN would take swift action against any aggressor as the US should have no business retaliating for personal vengence.
