Damage In Tolland
Man what a hit the snowpack has been taking. At least it's down to the meat of the pack trying to hold strong.50-55 out that way and valley today?
SR Airglow
I think the cape and perhaps other portions of Eastern New England are staring another blizzard down............epic Don't think we're out of it yet down here, a bilzzard is not happening, but all we need is 50 miles west or so and we are looking at a 6"+ storm. Do I think it will happen, no, is it a possibilty and worth tracking, absolutley! -skisheep

CoastalWx
Is BOX on crack? Where are they getting snow changing to rain on the coast with N-NW winds? Pretty sure that had never happened except in April.
CoastalWx
The only way it would be a mix is if we have 5sm -SN and NE winds. Even 5SM NW winds may just be something where it has trouble sticking.
Ginx snewx
I think Rollo nailed this last night, its very possible that Warning level BDL east with Blizzard condtions PVD East, Boston, CC and Eastern NH all of Maine get smoked.

There is something that holds me back on this. Just think it could get kicked out of here with 3-6 for most. If 12z comes in robust, awesome...but that is my fear when looking at this. Oh I totally agree that is why I said possible but man o man the potential is there and if I was on the south shore i would prepare today for power issues, that grid is fragile and with wetter snow and a pasting.... There are more signals in upper levels that say game on. Even Euro Ens are much more robust but your caution flags are very much warranted. OSUmetstud
The 06z gfs shifted east with the northern stream. The overall longwave pattern was actually more amplified on the 00z euro than either the 00z or the 06z gfs. The embedded shortwave is considerably weaker so the strorm is strung out and developing until it gets too far north.
