jm1220
And right on its heels another trough with plenty of energy digging out west.... That trough could actually be good for this system, as it could keep it moving and offshore enough to not be a coast hugger or inland phaser. It's all about where such a trough would phase and neg tilt.
SnoSki14
This one is exciting. It's so cold as well on this run. I would like the Euro to pick this up but I'm glad the ensembles show it quite well. This could be a monster and maybe not the last one either, there's plenty more threats after this one. Kaner587
partial triplw phase withthe PV on the pday storm. impressive to see that. And it not be a coastal hugger. Wow. I haven't seen a triple phaser look like this. I imagined that for us to see all snow the last part of the phase would have to be late, and the surface reflection would look a lot like the GFS

SnowGoose69
partial triplw phase withthe PV on the pday storm. impressive to see that. I would not be surprised if the low ends of coming more out of the Gulf than developing off NC, you can see a weak reflection for awhile that something does try to pop down there. It's all about where such a trough would phase and neg tilt. That actually will be a good thing for this system. Everyone keeps complaining about the progressive nature of this pattern but this would be a case where it would definitely help in terms of keeping the low to our east when we have a major phase developing. As far the bombing goes, this could easily get into the 960s in a total phase, a pure monster.
