earthlight
Vort swinging through Missouri (which came down from Central Canada) is a real beast on this run
dbc
post of the day...LOL this actually made me laugh! 4KM Nam agrees with the .16 for NYC metro so if that happens mark this down right now as a coup for today's 4km NAM unless it's got more throuigh 72. hudsonvalley21
Headed to Mt. Fuji in Hillburn, NY. Anybody that knows that place knows that its quite the mountain to climb and impossible in the snow. Yup, it's a nice climb up there. I think the way back down would be tougher in the snow. Great food there. Enjoy!
earthlight
Euro has light to moderate precipitation over the area at 48 hours...but the main vort is still digging into the base of the trough at that hour. This run is going to be close to a huge storm for New England.
Allsnow
Light to mod snow at hr 48. But this looks nothing like the rest of guidance

This run is going to be close to a huge storm for New England. It looks like the models were having trouble resolving the individual pieces of energy in the trough over the last several days with a small shift making the difference. Wxoutlooksblog
The big numbers will probably be for coastal NE points n and e. But we could still get a period of accumulating snow here, just light to moderate amounts at best, maybe. WX/PT
MJO812
The trough on the Euro was sharper on this run. Good improvement on this run. Not alot of precip like the other models though.

Neblizzard
The trough on the Euro was sharper on this run. Good improvement on this run. Not alot of precip like the other models though. I guess anything could happen, but it's hard to go against a model that does so well with potent coastal systems. I will place my bet on the euro for now. Yeah the way down is much worse. Those turns are fairly sharp. I have an SUV but that won't help me stop if I start to slide.
