Which of these cources should I take to prepare myself for a meteorology major?

right now i'm at a 2 year technical community college, but i'm a bit behind on math and science.  i have been taking mostly business and developmental math classes.  however, next semester i am looking to take

 

 

MAT 095 - Algebraic Concepts

PHS 140 - Weather and Climate

PHS 110 - Survey of Phys Science

 

I have room for 1 class that I would like to be a physical science class.  which would you take to prep?  so far only science courses i've had in my college career are General Biology 1, Physical Science 1.  I am currently in MAT 060.  My choices for physical science are

PHS 140 Weather and Climate

PHY 110 Conceptual Physics

None. focus on math, physics requires it. You're not prepared to take half of those classes because you haven't had trig or calculus yet. There's no point in taking a "lesser" physics class, because you'll be required to take calculus base physics in the end anyway.

okay, well I can really only take 1 math class at a time and that spot is filled with algebraic concepts. or who knows, maybe i can try to take 2 maths.  IDK if the school will let me but hell I'll try.

Talk to your adviser, they'll be able to steer you in the right direction.

Don't they offer chemistry? You could knock out the two semesters of chem w/o the calculus prerequisite. 

 

Also...an English course couldn't hurt.
