menton1
Here in NE Bergen County, NJ it's been snow all day. About 4-5 already on the ground, coming down moderately and steadily. Looks like a big one...
Dsnowx53
Mostly sleet now, still a little rain in there. Your and Doug's observations are making me hopeful that hopefully the torture's almost over here. It's still battling here, but things look pretty much right on schedule. It's all sleet here and I'm starting to see some mangled up flakes. Hopefully this is it. I'm also liking that the back edge over NJ is slowing down.Pivot should begin soon. jm1220
How on earth is the NAM still giving me 24-30" of snow. Wtf? It's the NAM but my call for 12+ for all and locally 18-20 especially out by you up a ways up the Sagtikos probably. We're going to catch up fast on what we lost out on (looks like we lost 0.5-0.75" liquid).
WIN
It appears that the eastward movement of the back edge is about stopped & the pivot should begin soon.
Dsnowx53
For places still battling with sleet, it's often a two steps up, one step down kind of thing. And still very precip intensity dependent.
TWCCraig
My gauge already picked up 0.67". If we get what the 4km NAM is saying we could see nearly 2'.
WintersGrasp
Look at the Boston radar....beautiful and scary looking with that HUGE band/blob of snow and seemingly never ending feed of moisture about to just wallop them !!

jm1220
Take a look at the radar-the back edge is stopping cold and you can already see perhaps the beginning of the backbuilding which will occur, as the northern vort and energy catches up to our storm. Watch for the radar west of us to start filling in quite a bit this evening as the phase finally occurs. Heavy snow could make it down to Philly for a time, but it will be short lived down there. There will likely be a very stark difference between the Philly area and ours by morning.
