KEITH L.I
seems like I am wasting so much liquid to rain here, with slight sleet mixing in and out we are big time
WintersGrasp
The Jersey dryslot seems to be occurring now. Back edge racing east. We'll be saved here in NE NJ:)
Neblizzard
The edge of the precip in W Nj is racing east, hopefully the lull doesn't last long, unless those heavy bands over NYC can pivot west.
MikeS
how far east will it go?
SnoSki14
So we're just changing over now and now we are entering a lull for who knows how long? That doesn't sound too promising.
jm1220
how far east will it go? The snow that's over central PA will eventually merge into the main system now and greatly expand the coverage of snow, but that likely won't be for a few hours. Most of NJ may dry up for a while before that.
SRRTA22
No matter what the models are showing right now, you gotta admit, it almost looks like its about to be over with

bluewave
No matter what the models are showing right now, you gotta admit, it almost looks like its about to be over with There was always going to be a sharp cutoff heading down toward philly once the storm really wound up. SnoSki14
The storm is a pain in the you know what. It's still sleeting, there's about to be a lull, like im so over it. Just give me a clean cut miller A with 6-10" all snow and enough of this debacle.

IsentropicLift
Relaxs folks, as the CCB continues to grow stronger it's consolidating a bit, but as has been said, once this gets really cranking it's expected to have good wrap around moisture. If you want to believe the high res NAM, that is about as far east as the back edge is going to get.
IsentropicLift
Just looking at the radar, I think it's becoming clearer and clearer that the JP zone will be right over NYC and then 20 miles in each direction west to east.
ace0927
at this point, with the back edge racing eastward and the freaken sleet, i would bet that no one verifies anywhere near DT's 12-18"....i hope im wrong. I have yet to see a flake of snow - LB crew, what about you?
