Better than the 43 pages we have, when half our sub forum got basically no snow from it. G-D help us if we get 3 or 4" inches this weekend, we will have 150 pages.

There's some sick people in here. I'll bet many here remember this winter poorly even if they finish above climo with a HECS for the ages....people seem to want Northern Green Mountain climate of 4" of snow every other day and a 4 foot snow pack that never melts. Talk about getting expectations butchered from reality by January 2011.

In fairness there's 30 dbz returns within a handful of miles of the CT coast and 10 or so of the islands as of 1130pm.

There is one nasty band, but whether or not it ever makes it up here, who the F knows.

Looking at OKX radar, weenie goes up. Box radar, weenie goes down.

Curious what's the difference in radars?

messenger okx radar looks sick, the stuff filling in N side of long island is the real deal, with the yellow specs sprinkld in, i'm pretty confident that stuff over to the SE ct stuff gets you( at least) even if the band kicks/slides ENE /then East quickly....thou who knows if it will slide east like i think it may.

it looks like low position on spc maybe about 30 or so miles further NW than model'd but don't hold me to that.....and this isn't "weenie googles"

I think it's about to hit the northern wall and shoot east.  ACK is getting clobbered.  Not a bad event really, the year of the death bands.

GON has 8 mile vis -SN in the "death band"....Euro kicked the American's azz again...it was a bit too light to our SW in the PHL/BWI area, but not by a lot. Those runs giving half an inch of qpf there were laughable by NCEP. Euro is on a heater right now. It def wasn't perfect, but we can't achieve that at 72h.
