ORH_wxman
Better than the 43 pages we have, when half our sub forum got basically no snow from it. G-D help us if we get 3 or 4" inches this weekend, we will have 150 pages. There's some sick people in here. I'll bet many here remember this winter poorly even if they finish above climo with a HECS for the ages....people seem to want Northern Green Mountain climate of 4" of snow every other day and a 4 foot snow pack that never melts. Talk about getting expectations butchered from reality by January 2011.
Clinch Leatherwood
In fairness there's 30 dbz returns within a handful of miles of the CT coast and 10 or so of the islands as of 1130pm. There is one nasty band, but whether or not it ever makes it up here, who the F knows. Looking at OKX radar, weenie goes up. Box radar, weenie goes down. Mr Torchey
Oh man small flakes mixed with parachutes, here I am at 1137 just as excited for this as I was for the blizzard, every flake should be cherished, heading back out

No model really had this band..kind of how we figured it'd play out feast or famine. I'm busy doing some work but keep expecting to see it go whiff...keeps coming. N. OF PIKE
messenger okx radar looks sick, the stuff filling in N side of long island is the real deal, with the yellow specs sprinkld in, i'm pretty confident that stuff over to the SE ct stuff gets you( at least) even if the band kicks/slides ENE /then East quickly....thou who knows if it will slide east like i think it may. it looks like low position on spc maybe about 30 or so miles further NW than model'd but don't hold me to that.....and this isn't "weenie googles"
N. OF PIKE
7H low appears to have closed off within last hour..... ....just along/south of west central side of long island where is capecodweeniewx, this is transversing the gulf stream....booommm baby! ORH_wxman
GON has 8 mile vis -SN in the "death band"....Euro kicked the American's azz again...it was a bit too light to our SW in the PHL/BWI area, but not by a lot. Those runs giving half an inch of qpf there were laughable by NCEP. Euro is on a heater right now. It def wasn't perfect, but we can't achieve that at 72h. N. OF PIKE
latest frame on spc doesn't not show 7h closed anymore ...anyway. you can see the 7H winds from S/SSW to N/NNE all way to PVD- PYM on the right side of the low pressure
ORH_wxman
GON has fallen to 2 mi -SN in the death band now. Perhaps some weenie 0.5-1" totals down on the south coast from that. We'll see if ACK decides to start reporting snow soon.
